Bernd Leno
In Fulham's rather comfortable win over Leicester City, Leno's goal was not the busiest out of the two, but he was forced into crucial saves when his team was not yet in-front, in particular a close range shot from Jordan Ayew and a close range save from his own team, Timothy Castagne.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Alexander-Arnold was at his playmaking best away to Brentford on Saturday, creating 5 chances for his teammates, including the vital assist to Darwin Nunez's in the 91st minute for Liverpool to take the late lead in the game.
It wasn't just his chance creating game on-show, Trent's all-round game was at his best at the G-Tech Community stadium, completing 5 crosses, 2/3 long balls as well as 3 clearances, 2 interceptions and 1 tackle.
Dean Huijsen
Ever since Huijsen got his place in Bournemouth's starting XI, he has not looked back, becoming one of the most in-form and talked about centre backs in the league, with this performance against Newcastle United another showcase of his talent at just 19 years of age.

Huijsen dealt with the problems of Alexander Isak with great composure, whilst his stats in the game were phenomenal, making 4 clearances, 2 interceptions, 3 tackles, 1 clearance of the line, blocking 4 shots and winning 4/5 of his duels.
James Tarkowski

Whilst Everton were not put under the pressure that was expected against Spurs, when Everton was under the cosh, especially towards the end of the game, James Tarkowski was there to help his team to three valuable points.
Tarkowski made 6 clearances, 2 interceptions, 3 tackles, winning 3/4 ground duels and 4/4 of his ariel duels, with one being the header which led to Archie Gray's own goal which resulted in the Everton's crucial third goals just before half-time.
Milos Kerkez
There wasn't a blade of grass down the flanks of St. James' Park that Kerkez didn't cover against Newcastle, with him contributing to his team both offensively and defensively.

Kerkez made 2 clearances and 2 interceptions as well as winning 4/6 of his duels with the opposition and on the attacking side, he completed all 3 of his dribbles and capped of his and his team's great performance with a sublime finish in the 96th minute.
Idrissa Gueye

35 year old Idrissa Gueye turned back the clock with this performance against Spurs, covering every blade of grass in the midfield, with his efforts being rewarded on both sides of the play.
Gueye's defensive side was back to his best, winning 7/9 of his duels, making 3 tackles, 2 clearances, 2 interceptions and blocking 1 shot.
On the ball, Gueye's on the ball though is what he got recognition for in this game, completing 35/37 of his passes whilst also grabbing himself 2 assists, his first of the season.
Mateo Kovacic

Kovacic was the controller in chief at Portman Road for Manchester City, conducting all the play for his side in dominant fashion in the centre of the park.
Kovacic racked up the stats-sheet in this game, completing 70/73 of his passes, 2/2 of his long balls. 1/1 of his dribbles and 4/6 of his duels whilst also creating 3 chances, with two of them being big chances.
He also grabbed an assist for James McAtee just before being subbed off in the 70th minute to go with his excellent long-range strike to double his side's lead.
Ryan Christie
Against a midfield that has suffocated all their recent opponents with their physicality, Ryan Christie dominated Newcastle's midfield with not just his recognised on-ball skills, but his work-rate and off-ball duties were on-show.

Christie won an impressive 14 duels at St. James' Park to go along with 5 clearances, 3 interceptions and 9 tackles in a dominant midfield performance, which makes you ever-impressed with his transition from winger to all-round midfielder.
Yankuba Minteh
20 year old Gambian, Minteh had his best performance in a Brighton shirt since his big money move from Newcastle United in the summer, leading his team to a third successive victory at Old Trafford
Minteh grabbed the first goal of the match, with a simple tap in, but his biggest effect on the game was his assist for Karou Mitoma for Brighton's 2nd of the game to re-take the lead, with his cross inch-perfect to sail past Andre Onana and Noussair Mazraoui and find Mitoma at the back post.
Justin Kluivert
A second hattrick of the season for Kluivert carried his side to a impressive 4-1 over Newcastle United at St. James' park, with his well-timed goals, early in the game, just before half-time and in the final few minutes giving Newcastle their first Premier League defeat in six games.

The quality of Kluivert's finish were also very impressive, a left footed strike perfectly placed in the bottom corner, a well-timed and placed right footed strike, surrounded by multiple Newcastle defenders and a sweet long range strike to seal off a great individual and team performance.
Darwin Nunez
After a string of poor performances this season and seemingly not having the trust to start regularly, Darwin Nunez was in need of a confidence boosting performance for the fans, his teammates and his manager.

In a game where Liverpool were dominating but the final finish was missing, Nunez came on and delivered in the best way possible, scoring in the 91st and 93rd minute to seal his side three big points and avoiding a 3rd straight game without a win.
