Newcastle United 3-1 Bournemouth
In the early kick-off this week, it's two of the more in-form teams facing off against each other, as Newcastle have won their last six Premier League games and Bournemouth are undefeated in their past nine.

Newcastle's run in form has coincided with their first-choice midfield trio of Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali returning from injury, and since their return, they have been dominant, not only winning six Premier League games on this spin, but scoring 18 goals and conceding just once in the run.
Bournemouth are again without a striker for this game, with Evansilson and Enes Unal out with long term injuries, but they have faired well in their past two games without the pair, scoring 5 goals against West Brom in the FA Cup and 2 goals away to Chelsea, but away to Newcastle against their in-form back-line and midfield, it will be a difficult test without an outlet up top.
Brentford 1-3 Liverpool
After two consecutive draws to Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, Liverpool are looking to get back to winning ways, but they would have to do so against the 3rd best home team in the league in Thomas Frank's Brentford, but with Liverpool boasting the best away record in the League, they will also be confident.

Brentford's comeback against Manchester City in midweek showcased just how much of a threat they are to the top teams, with their ability to defend, but their direct and quick attacks through Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Mikkel Damsgaard a threat to any team who throw numbers forward.
Despite their two draws, Liverpool are still four points ahead of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League, with a game in hand, and their performance in the second half against Nottingham Forest, one of the best defensive teams in the league, showcased their attacking quality, getting off 14 shots and 3 big chances, but great last ditch defending from Forest left them with just a draw, but it showcased how dominant this Liverpool side can be.
Leicester City 1-3 Fulham
After a good start to Ruud Van Nistelrooy's reign at Leicester City, beating West Ham and drawing with Brighton, Leicester have looked quite awful since, losing six on the bounce, conceding 16 goals and scoring just twice, leaving in the relegation zone, two points away from 17th placed Wolves.

Fulham's midweek loss to West Ham was their first loss since November, having gone on an eight game unbeaten run which had two wins and six draws, with individual mistakes at the back leading to two goals being their downfall, masking what was a decently controlled performance at the London Stadium.
Their ability to create chances could cause the leaky Leicester defence real problems, having scored 2 goals in each of their last four games and have only blanked just twice in the Premier League this season, whilst Leicester have kept just the one clean sheet.
West Ham United 1-1 Crystal Palace
Despite not the greatest performance in midweek, Graham Potter would be delighted to get his first West Ham win on the board, especially at home, but they face another tough test in his second home game, with Crystal Palace coming in with just one loss from their last ten Premier League games.

Lucas Paqueta has been the man in-form under Potter, scoring in both of his games in charge, whilst also having to play a different role with West Ham with their strikers Nicolas Fulkrug and Michal Antonio and their star player Jared Bowen.
A win for Palace would jump them over West Ham in the table, a great feat for them considering their start to the season, with no wins in their first eight games and having already created an eight point gap to the relegation zone.
Arsenal 2-0 Aston Villa
Despite being unbeaten in ten Premier League game coming into the North London Derby on Wednesday night, the win against Spurs felt huge for Mikel Arteta's side, especially with them capitalising on Liverpool and Nottingham Forest dropping points in their draw.

Their back four of Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly were impressive against A Spurs attack which is amongst the best in Europe, and will have to be against Aston Villa, who all but ended their title chances in this fixture last season with goals from Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey.
Up until their win against David Moyes' Everton in midweek, Villa's away form had been pretty poor, losing five on the bounce, conceding 14 goals and scoring just twice.
Their away performance will have to be much improved to get a result at the Emirates, with Arteta's side unbeaten at the Emirates in the League this season.
Manchester United 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Both Man Utd and Brighton opened their Premier League winning accounts in 2025 during the week, with United's late flurry from Amad securing them a victory over Southampton and their first League victory since mid-December and Brighton's second half goals against Ipswich Town gave a first league win since late-November.
Brighton have had a good record against United in recent seasons, winning 5 of their last 7 meetings between the teams, including a dramatic 2-1 victory earlier in the season.

A victory for United looks crucial, with three points taking them within two points of Brighton, but a loss would see Brighton move seven points clear of the Red Devils.
Whilst United might have the individual quality, the way Southampton caused United problems for most of the match, the high press, direct play to wingers, is exactly how Brighton look to cause problems and it could be another tough match for Ruben Amorim.
Everton 0-3 Spurs
It wasn't quite the uplifting performance that was expected in David Moyes' return to the Everton dugout against Aston Villa, with Everton's lack of attacking quality on show again, making it the third game in a row the Toffees have blanked in and the 9th time in their past 11 matches.

Spurs have not been in good form themselves, without a win in five league games, conceding 13 goals, but a game against Everton, who don't show much attacking threat could be what they need to get back into the swing of things, especially up top, scoring just 4 goals in their last 4 league games, a big drop-off compared to the 2.3 goals per game average from before this run of fixtures.
Everton's hope is their height advantage will win this game, likely targeting Archie Gray with long balls, with the hope of winning set-pieces, where they can send their centre-backs forward and cause Spurs problems in their weakest area of the pitch.
Nottingham Forest 2-0 Southampton
Southampton looked much improved in their trip to Old Trafford, with Tyler Dibling and Kamaldeen Sulemana causing United many problems with their dribbling ability and runs of the ball, but their efforts were again undone by poor individual mistakes in defence, leaving their great efforts wasted in the end.

Forest showed their ability to defend deep against Liverpool midweek, with each and every player putting their bodies on the line for the result, but against a Southampton side, that may be feeling from their efforts at Old Trafford, they could showcase their attacking qualities at The City Ground.
What Forest have done so well this season is allow teams to have the ball and defend well, whilst having pace, directness and quality on the counter, which is perfect for this game with Southampton built to have the ball, but have shown to lack the quality for it to work in the Premier League.
Ipswich Town 1-3 Manchester City
Man City's late collapse against Brentford again showed the frailties of this squad under Pep Guardiola this season, conceding 2+ goals for the 10th time in the league this season, already nearly double of their total of 6 from last season.

Kieran McKenna's Ipswich will be hoping for a great defensive performance from his team, with his team likely to hand the ball to Man City, with the hope that former City player Liam Delap will have the strength and power on the counter attack to cause them problems.
It will be a long-shot for McKenna's side to keep City out, having kept just 2 league clean sheets this season and City having failed to score in just 2 league games.
Chelsea 4-1 Wolves
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea have definitely been in a blip as of late, having been without a League win since mid-December against Brentford, leaving them out of the top four and removing the questions of a title race in Maresca's press conferences.

Wolves handed Maresca his first Premier League victory at Molineux earlier this season, with Chelsea running riot, scoring 6 goals, including a Noni Madueke hat-trick and this is the kind of game Cole Palmer loves, having grabbed a goal and 3 assists in the game between the two sides at the start of the season.
Wolves' start of 2 wins and a draw under new boss Vitor Pereira dragged them out of the relegation zone, but with back to back losses against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle, they are still in the fight, placed 17th and level on points with Ipswich and having conceded the most goals in the Premier League with 48 against them.
