Turkish club Beskitas has confirmed former Manchester United player and manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their new Head Coach until 2026.

This is the first job the 51 year old Norwegian has took since he was dismissed from his role as Manchester United manager in December 2022.
Besiktas are currently placed 6th in the Turkish league, 12 points off Fenerbache in 2nd place and 20 points off Galatasaray in top spot whilst also sitting 28th in the Europa League rankings, with two games left to qualify, facing Athletic Bilbao and FC Twente.

Besiktas hold a bunch of recognisable faces in their squad, including former Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, former West Ham full back Arthur Masuaku and former Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista.
They also have former Benfica midfielders Rafa Silva, Gedson Fernandes and Joao Mario in their squad which makes you wonder how they are so far off the top in Turkey, giving Solskjaer a lot of talent to work with.
